From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., we stood on the central island of the Niederwall with police motorcycles, patrol cars, crime scene cars, the traffic accident investigation team's van and the coffee truck. During the coffee talks with pedestrians and cyclists, the patrol colleagues explained their work. Our motorcyclists allowed some children to try out a seat on the police motorcycle and our traffic accident investigation team showed interested people their equipment in the police vehicle. Our colleagues from forensics explained the advantages of the official drone and, together with our burglary protection advisor, provided information on the work of the criminal investigation department.
How should you respond to fraudulent text messages? What career opportunities are there with the police? We answered these and other questions - over a hot drink - for the citizens who happened to stroll past, but also for those who approached us specifically.
We were delighted with your lively response, the many suggestions and the pleasant conversations and will be happy to continue to be available for you.
