Here we give you the opportunity to call up various forms relating to the granting of permits under the Weapons Act.

The granting of permits in accordance with the Weapons Act requires an application. The application forms can be found in the download area on the right-hand side.

The processing of applications under the Weapons Act is subject to a fee. The obligation to pay costs arises as soon as the application is received by the police. The obligation to pay costs also arises when applications are withdrawn.

Due to legally prescribed checks, your request cannot usually be processed immediately and conclusively (e.g. registration of weapon acquisition, pre-registration, application for a weapons permit, etc.). It is therefore advisable to send applications or required notifications in writing. You will then be informed after the check has been carried out.

Please note:

If you submit an application for a small firearms license, you agree that this will be linked to the requirement in accordance with Section 9 (2) of the Weapons Act to only carry alarm, irritant and signal weapons in public in a manner that cannot be seen by other people (concealed carry).
